Mercy Alvarado was born and raised in Queens, New York. She has always had animals whom she loved very much. But it wasn’t until she found her first cat, Ginger, who showed her the true meaning of the love of an animal. Now she is a cat-mom of 7!! Mercy spends her days helping animals at work and outside of work. As her love for animals has grown, she has become the person who family/ friends go to when they find an animal in need.

Mercy has fulfilled a certificate as a veterinary assistant and looks forward to becoming a licensed Veterinary Technician in the future.
