Katerina, or 'Kat," has been surrounded by animals all of her life. Her love for them grew with age. She now is a mom to two cats, Freya and Hades, a puppy named Bear, and her bird, Luffy. 

Being a veterinary assistant has allowed her the opportunity to get an early start in the field that she adores.

Currently, she’s attending Stony Brook University, where she is obtaining a Bachelor's in Biology with a minor in anthropology. After graduation, she is looking forward to applying to veterinary schools!
