Veterinary Care Group Forest Hills

Dr. Ruth Lee is a native New Yorker; she grew up in Queens, went to the Bronx High School of Science, and obtained her undergraduate degree at the State University of New York at Geneseo. She moved on to pursue her DVM degree at Ross University of Veterinary Medicine, completing her clinical year at Oklahoma State University. 

After obtaining her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Lee advanced her veterinary training by completing a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center of Westbury in Long Island, NY. After her internship, Dr. Lee transitioned to general practice and has been practicing high quality canine and feline preventative care, medicine, and general soft tissue surgeries. She also has advanced training in Dentistry.  

Dr. Lee values developing relationships with her clients and working together with them to develop the best health and treatment options for them and their pet’s healthcare. She has a soft spot for senior pets and is passionate about senior health care for her patients. 

Outside of work, she spends her time with family, which mostly consists of running around after her 2 children and nutty Labradoodle.
