Dr. Emily Zhang was born and raised in New York City. She left home to attend the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Vet and Animal Sciences in 2013. Dr. Zhang returned to New York to attend Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and obtained her veterinary degree in 2017. Since then, Dr. Zhang has worked in a small animal private practice in PA and shelter medicine (North Shore Animal League America) celebrating the animal-human bond. During her spare time, Dr. Zhang keeps herself busy with teaching her pets new tricks, attending musicals/plays, and working on her goal of visiting every national park in the US. She shares her home with two hangry cats, Sora and Jiji, and her cat-like Pomeranian, Maru.
