Dr. Camille Barnes
Camille Barnes is an integrative veterinary practitioner, combining Western medical knowledge with the principles and modalities of traditional Chinese veterinary medicine. She is a veterinary acupuncturist and is currently becoming certified in food therapy at Chi University.
Dr. Barnes is a native New Yorker, born and raised in the Bronx. She attended Wheaton College in Massachusetts where she attained a bachelor’s degree in African Diaspora studies, then worked as a licensed veterinary technician prior to attending veterinary school. Dr. Barnes graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and finished her clinical year of training at Tufts University. She completed her veterinary acupuncture training at Chi University.
She enjoys internal medicine & dermatology cases, and loves expanding her knowledge of traditional Chinese veterinary medicine. Her interests outside of the veterinary world include traveling to new places, spending time with family, and eating delicious food. She lives with her husband, two sons, and their two tuxedo cats, Shawn and Marlon.
Dr. Barnes will be returning from Maternity leave in September 2024!
