Ashley is a native New Yorker, born and raised in the heart of Queens. She started her veterinary medicine journey early. Being that her family has always owned animals, she took an immediate interest in the field and attended a high school that taught veterinary sciences. Straight out of high school, she began as a Pet Care Assistant in 2013 at Banfield Pet Hospital in Valley Stream, NY, where she later moved on to become a Client Service Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant. She worked at Banfield for five years before joining Bellerose Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant. Simultaneously, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology, magna cum laude, with department honors from Mercy College. She joined the team at Veterinary Care Group of Forest Hills as a Licensed Veterinary Technologist in January 2021. When Ashley is not at VCG, you can find her giving belly rubs to her favorite kitties – Pop and Que-Tip, making travel plans for a sunny locale, or getting lost in the pages of a great read.
