Amalya Levy graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 2016, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Behavior, and Studio Art. She participated in behavioral research and husbandry training of the capuchins and leopard geckos residing at their Vivarium. Amalya went on to intern with the New York Aquarium’s Behavioral Husbandry department, where she cared for California Sea Lions, and helped narrate the shows in which they performed. Ever eager to learn, Amalya has returned to school to study Veterinary Technology, and hopes to ultimately specialize in Behavioral Science.
A born and bred local, Amalya has returned to Forest Hills to live with her family and two cats, Mochi and Tristan, whom she trains regularly. When she is not working or doting on her cats, Amalya loves participating in the arts through singing, painting, drawing, and crafting jewelry.
